When anyone tries to enter or leave Termanistan, they can either use the many [[public portals]], or use teleportation magic.
For teleportation within Termanistan's borders, no permit is required. Should one want to use teleportation to travel to another plane, or to enter Termanistan from another plane, a magically signed [[Teleportation Permit|permit]] is required. Those who do not have such a permit are immediately deposited in *the Gatehouse*.

== Function ==

The Gatehouse functions as Termanistan's entrance and ministry of immigration. All newcomers go through here unless invited or brought in by someone with necessary authority. Those who attempt to enter or leave unlawfully are either returned to whence they came, or thrown in one of Termanistan's [[jail]]s.

== Description ==

The Gatehouse looks like a big office building, with corridors, waiting lines and offices. There are windows, but they open unto a featureless world that looks put there only to give a pleasing view. The existence of windows on interior walls further underlines this idea.

It exists on a small demiplane of its own, and the only way to get there is by teleportation magic from Termanistan.
