History
When the sub-city Yil-echmonn was founded, Yilbechar decided to place there his great collection of books. They were all marked for ease of reclamation, and anyone was free to come and read, or even borrow. Other scholars saw the value in this, and added their works to the library, as well as any works they found or otherwise acquired. After more than 35,000 years the collection is impressive.
With the rise of the rot in Yil-echmonn some of the lower levels are inaccessible. Some claim the books on these levels are lost, while others hold that the bookshelves are enchanted and will protect the books.
