Spires

Spires, perhaps more correctly called towers, are common in Termanistan. These are tall, tapering constructs of various dimensions and architectural styles. Originally, they were the private sanctums (sancta?) of powerful wizards, and any self-respecting wizard had one. Today, only the most powerful wizards build spires, and many of the original spires are being used by universities, religious congregations or civic agencies.

Famous Spires

Probably most famous in Termanistan is the Spire of Yilbechar - the First Spire, the Spire of Dragons. It was built by the dragon sorcerer Yilbechar when Termanistan was only a proto-city on a proto-plane.

Other famous spires include the Spire of Council where the Supreme Council convenes, the Spire of Shadows in Zil-Shahaar, the Green Spire in Et-Gong, the Spire of Winter in Northwan, and the Spire of Night in Raszhan.
